Substitute nursing positions are available in all Sussex County, NJ districts
What do you need to be a substitute nurse?
Be a RN in the state of NJ with CPR/AED certification
Apply at the district you are interested in
Once hired, you will be fingerprinted and go through standard new employee requirements
You will need to obtain a substitute nursing certificate through the county BOE office (your district can assist you with this process if you don’t already possess this)
